Bill Niswonger suggested that Campbell instead refer to the existing Nuisance Ordinance. Commissioner Hawley noted the difficulty of enforcing a noise ordinance, and Roman remarked that police do not respond to enforce Township ordinances.

Zoning Administrator Lisa Radke offered general comments on typical master plan language and continuity. Chairman Roman asked Radke to review the Commission's Master Plan revisions using Microsoft Word's track changes and comment features, with results to be discussed at the October meeting. Radke also indicated she will address the Cherry Republic project at the October Commission meeting. Andy Dotterweich reported that the Zoning Board of Appeals has no meetings scheduled. Bob Hawley reported nothing notable from the August Township Board meeting.
In member comments, Hawley suggested the Township adopt an ordinance similar to the existing Firework Ordinance to address noise concerns. Commissioner Thompson remarked that residents of a tourist town should expect to deal with the associated activity.
