Summary
The Glen Arbor Township Planning Commission met May 7, 2026, with Chairman Lance Roman presiding. Concerns raised include a quorum of Township officials working daily in the same room and existing mold and drainage problems in the current Township building. Ihme suggested the present building could instead be used to expand community participation opportunities. No decision was made.
Zoning Administrator Lisa Radke reported that Gray Carlson, owner of a Lake Street property next to the winery, is seeking approval to add a single-family home with a studio rental and garage. Radke noted that well and septic permits, a driveway permit, and floor plans, validations, and elevations are still required.
Dotterweich reported no Zoning Board of Appeals meetings are currently scheduled. No correspondence was received.
On the Master Plan update, Dana Boomer of the Cypher Group authored proposed changes and emailed the latest version (dated 5/14/2025) to Roman. Dotterweich requested additional work on sections 5, 6, and 7. Roman has requested copies of the Master Plan be provided to Thompson and Berlacher. No ordinance items were ready for discussion at this meeting.
