Land Use Permits Issued

A year-to-date comparison shows a slight increase from five permits issued in January 2024 to six in the current year. Notably, no permits were issued in January 2023, indicating a resurgence in construction and development activities in the township.

Current land division activities include an ongoing boundary line adjustment application, approval for a new lot on Freeland Road, and a platted lot split. Staff Report Highlights
Staff is actively assisting the Planning Commission with the review of a Special Use Permit for a tower and engaging in research for the township's Master Plan. Additionally, questions have arisen surrounding short-term rental permits, suggesting a need for clarity in the regulations governing this aspect of land use within the township.
