The Leland Township Sewer System, over 30 years old, is undergoing significant evaluation and upgrades. In 2023, the system discharged 26.14 million gallons within permit limits, with influent flows at 23.21 million gallons. Plans for 2024 include hydrogen sulfide treatment continuation, drainfield evaluation, and wastewater plant upgrades, alongside an in-house operation management shift.
