The Old Art Building has graciously provided temporary meeting space for the township during the library’s renovation. We will be utilizing this space for at least the next few months. I am optimistic about our ongoing contract discussions with the fire department. The initial draft of the FY 2025 general budget has been distributed for review.

The applicant provided a map of communication towers in Leelanau Township, which was incomplete. A revised map is needed. Additionally, the plans still show barbed wire fencing, which is not allowed. Revised plans should also reflect this. The use of existing tower designs and service access during winter are also mentioned in the application review.
