In response to the Village Council’s motion on January 24, 2023, a Task Force has been established consisting of five village residents. Marc Oberschulte, a local resident with prior experience in government and funding research, expressed a strong interest in contributing to the Task Force’s objectives related to research and grant opportunities for the village.

Additionally, six construction inspections were conducted, with ongoing violation investigations and extensive resident communication via phone and email by the Zoning Administrator.

The Woolsey Airport Terminal, rooted in the legacy of World War I pilot Clinton Woolsey, has historical significance dating back to the 1930s. The terminal currently faces critical structural issues, prompting a need for preservation efforts. Immediate repairs are essential, with a projected cost ranging from $280,000 to $450,000, emphasizing the urgency of the project.
