Executive Summary:

Facilities Management Report – May 13th, 2025

Airport:
– Water at Terminal building turned on
– Key pad to Terminal building in process of repair

Braman:
– Skate park equipment setup and warning sign installed
– Damaged ‘PayPhone’ removed from warming hut

Buster Dame Park:
– Water to be turned on as soon as Village finishes flushing Fire Hydrants

Cemeteries:
– Water turned on at both cemeteries
– Ongoing cleanup in preparation of Memorial Day
– Annual and Perennial flowers planted at Northport Cemetery Sign

Christmas Cove:
– Gate has been opened for vehicle access to lower parking area
– Trash cans placed and trash pickup service resumed

Omena Beach:
– Coordinating with State of Michigan to start weekly water analysis for E Coli during summer months
– Trash cans and service resumed

Peterson Park:
– Historical Marker base installed
– Trash service and cans resumed

Township Hall:
– Replacing bathroom exhaust fans, as current ones are out of production since 1973 and one has failed
– Coordinating with door company to replace door closers, as one has failed since installation in April 2023

General:
– Thanks to the Lions club for the help in maintaining the recycling center
– Feeling hopeful for good weather for the Memorial Day event
