Budget Work Session (Minutes)

This document contains the minutes from the Solon Township Board Budget Meeting held on March 20, 2025. The meeting commenced with the standard procedures: a call to order, the Pledge of Allegiance, and approval of the agenda. Public comment was received, with one resident seeking clarification on budget documents and another expressing satisfaction with the township’s millage rates. The board then approved vouchers for payment.

The primary focus of the meeting was the discussion and modification of the proposed 2025-2026 budget. Key items considered included district assessments, parks (including a new Parks Commission), computer upgrades, and cemetery operations. Finally, the board approved the proposed 2025-2026 budget with the noted amendments and authorized the amendment of the 2024-2025 budget to cover overspent line items. The meeting concluded with a brief public comment period and adjournment.
