Regular Session (Notice)

The Leelanau County Board of Commissioners has scheduled its regular meetings for the year 2025, to be held on the third Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m., unless otherwise specified. These meetings will take place in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room at the Leelanau County Government Center, located at 8527 E. Government Center Drive, Suttons Bay. Notable exceptions include the Annual Statutory Meeting on October 14, 2025, and the Organizational Meeting on January 6, 2026, which are scheduled for the second and first Tuesdays of their respective months.

Draft minutes of both regular and special meetings will be available for public inspection and copying at no charge, eight days after the session, in the office of the County Clerk. Additionally, minutes can be requested to be mailed. Leelanau County is committed to accessibility, offering necessary and reasonable auxiliary aids and services, such as signers for the hearing impaired and audiotapes of printed materials, to individuals with disabilities. A 24-hour notice is required to arrange these services, and interested parties should contact Michelle L. Crocker, the Leelanau County Clerk, at 231/256-9824.
