Regular meeting (Notice)

The Leelanau County Board of Commissioners has scheduled its regular meetings for the year 2024, to be held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m., unless otherwise specified. These meetings will take place in the Commissioners’ Meeting Room at the Leelanau County Government Center, located at 8527 E. Government Center Drive, Suttons Bay. Notable exceptions to the regular schedule include the Annual Statutory Meeting on October 8, 2024, and the Organizational Meeting on January 7, 2025, which are scheduled for the second and first Tuesdays of their respective months.

Draft minutes of both regular and special meetings will be available for public inspection and copying at no charge, eight days after the session, in the office of the County Clerk. Additionally, minutes can be mailed upon request, ensuring transparency and accessibility for the public. This provision underscores the commitment of Leelanau County to maintain open communication and accountability in its governance processes.
