Robert J. Reinshuttle, MPA, a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public administration, presents a comprehensive career history. His background includes significant roles in both state and federal government, as well as leadership positions in non-profit organizations. His expertise spans budget development, policy formulation, legislative affairs, and public safety, demonstrating a strong track record of achieving organizational goals and fostering positive relationships.

Reinshuttle’s most recent role was as Deputy County Administrator and Acting Public Safety Director for Manatee County, Florida (2021-2023). In this position, he was responsible for a budget of two billion, overseeing multiple departments, and serving as a liaison to Commissioners. Previously, he served as Chief Operations Officer/VP at the Florida Association of Community Health Centers (2007-2021), where he managed a staff and oversaw member organizations.

Prior to these roles, Reinshuttle held positions focused on policy and government relations. He served as the National Director of Government Relations for the National Association of Extracorporeal Technology (2002-2007), where he successfully lobbied at the state and federal levels. He also worked as the Director of Health Policy for the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration (1998-2002) and as the Budget Policy Coordinator/Policy Advisor for the Office of the Florida Governor (1992-1998).

Reinshuttle’s educational background includes a Master of Public Administration from Western Michigan University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics/Political Science from Aquinas College. He also holds a Certificate in Management from Florida State University. His career trajectory highlights his ability to excel in diverse roles, manage large teams, and drive impactful results within complex organizational structures.
