Section 1: Citizen Comment on Kitchen Road Tower
– James and Ann Flutur, residents of the Northport Shores Subdivision, are requesting that the Zoning Board approve the Kitchen Road Tower to provide cell phone service to them and their neighbors.
– Cell service is needed not just for convenience, but also for safety reasons, as the Flutures and many of their neighbors are in their 70s and may need to quickly contact emergency services.

– Township Supervisor Mike McMillan followed up on the topic of cell service at the Township Parks and the State Park.
– McMillan confirmed that if Point Broadband is passing one of the parks, the township can request them to plow a line to a location in the park, creating “hot spots” for park visitors to access outside services.
– McMillan is in contact with the Point Broadband team to understand how the township can execute on this opportunity, and the township may want to invest in this service.
