The Leelanau Township Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a regular meeting on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 7:00 P.M. at the Leelanau Township Fire Hall located at 100 W. Eighth St, Northport, MI 49670. The meeting will also be accessible via Zoom for public viewing and participation. The agenda includes essential items such as the call to order, roll call, approval of the agenda, and declarations of any conflicts of interest. Additionally, the meeting will feature a public comment session, allowing attendees to voice their opinions on various matters.

A significant portion of the meeting will be dedicated to the discussion and potential action on a special land use permit application submitted by Leelanau County. The application is for the construction of a wireless communications tower at 11015 N. Kitchen Rd., Northport, MI.
