1. Meeting Overview
The Empire Village Council held a regular meeting on April 23, 2024. The meeting was called to order, the Pledge of Allegiance was led, and all council members were present along with the Village Clerk.

2. Agenda and Consent Agenda
The agenda was approved, and the consent agenda, including minutes, purchases, and other items, was approved with the exception of the legal bills, which were discussed separately.

3. Financial Reports and Communications
The March cash reports from the Clerk and Treasurer were received, and several letters from residents regarding various topics were also received.

4. Department and Committee Reports
The Department of Public Works report was reviewed, and updates were provided on the boat ramp, a bear trap, and the new village office.

5. Zoning Ordinance Amendment
The council approved an amendment to the Light Industrial District zoning ordinance, which was previously rejected by the Planning Commission.
