Abonmarche Consultants has submitted a proposal for professional services regarding the Suttons Bay Marina Visitor’s Center. The proposal outlines the scope of services, which includes topographic surveying, schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding and negotiation, and construction administration. The new public restroom will be located on the other side of the marina entrance to avoid disruption to marina operations. The village is requesting that the village council consider the two requests: Accept new location and accept the proposal.

The project aims to construct a new, accessible public restroom and boater services building. The project will be funded with state funds and matching funds from the Marina and DDA. The proposed scope of work includes detailed design phases, from schematic design to construction documents.

The proposal includes a detailed work plan with specific tasks, deliverables, and fees, and anticipates a construction timeline commencing in Spring/Summer 2025, with a potential for an alternative commencement in the Fall of 2025, depending on the discussion and coordination with the owner to ensure the project’s delivery for the boating season.
