Regular Meeting (Minutes)

The Elmwood Township Board held a regular meeting on June 10, 2024, covering various topics. The meeting began with standard procedures, including roll call, pledge, and declarations. The agenda was approved, along with the consent calendar, encompassing department and committee reports, minutes, and invoices. The Supervisor reported on the award of a Brownfield grant for Discovery Pier and discussed local speed limit concerns. New business included multiple text amendments to the zoning ordinance. Ordinance 2024-01, concerning Special Event Facilities, was approved. The Fire Chief presented fireworks permit applications, which were approved contingent upon the provision of required documentation. The board approved an equipment upgrade for the Township Hall sound system.

Finally, the board scheduled a special meeting for June 18, 2024, and approved the payment of invoices. The meeting concluded with extended public comment and adjournment.
