**Executive Summary – February 2024 Monthly Report**

**Personnel & Departures:** Deputy Chief Andy Stander retired after 35+ years of service. The report includes a note of appreciation for his contributions.

**Call Volume & Incident Breakdown:** Total LTFR responses for February 2024 were 31, with 61 calls year-to-date. The most frequent incident types were Rescue & Medical (45%) and Service Incidents (23%). Overlapping calls occurred at a rate of 13%. A structure fire occurred, resulting in the accidental damage due to the furnace.

**Operations & Training:** Fire personnel completed 201.25 hours of training. Topics included Fire Officer I, Training Officer courses, and familiarizations with new equipment. The report also highlights the delivery of a new ambulance (Alpha 593) and upgrades to Engine 512. The Special Event Coordination workshop was held to improve safety.

**Performance & Improvements:** The report provides response time comparisons, noting an improvement in unaided response times. The report also details various fire prevention activities and the installation of new laptops in the ambulances.
