Planning Commission: Planning Commission Wednesday, January 10, 2024 @ 7:00 pm (Agenda)

The Leelanau Township Planning Commission will hold a regular meeting on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held at 119 E. Nagonaba St, Northport, MI 49670, and will also be accessible via Zoom. The agenda includes standard items such as roll call, approval of the agenda, conflict of interest declarations, announcements, public comment periods, and reports from the Township Board, Zoning Administrator, and various committees.

A significant portion of the meeting will be dedicated to discussion and action items. These include an update on the Leelanau Township Master Plan, specifically focusing on the Executive Summary, Introduction, and Goals and Objectives. The Commission will also address new state legislation concerning the permitting of renewable energy systems. Additionally, the Planning Commission will consider the meeting schedule for 2024, which will require approval by resolution, and review the draft Planning Commission Annual Report for 2023.
